Former Italian PM Paid Prostitute Millions Via Antigua

Former Italian PM, Silvio Berlusconi, reportedly gave a former underage prostitute called Ruby five million Euros via an Antigua account when he was embroiled in a court case for paying her for sex in 2011, her former lawyer Egidio Verzini told ANSA Tuesday. The money was sent via the Antigua Commercial Bank and paid into a Mexican account, he said.  Berlusconi is also the controlling shareholder of Mediaset and owned the Italian football club A.C. Caribbean National Indicted For Conspiring To Commit Immigration Marriage Fraud

A 44-year-old Caribbean national born in Jamaica and a resident of Queens, NY has been indicted with conspiracy to commit immigration/marriage fraud and making false statements in an immigration document.

A federal grand jury late last month returned the guilty verdict charging Dwight Henry, 44, for conspiring with Jodian Stephenson, of Bridgeport, and another individual, to enter into a sham marriage so that he could obtain a Green Card.

If convicted of the charges against them, Henry faces a maximum term of imprisonment of 10 years and deportation.

In June 2018, Stephenson was charged by indictment with leading a conspiracy to arrange several fraudulent marriages between U.S. citizens and non-citizens.  Her case is pending.

US Citizen Threatened With Deportation To Jamaica

A black U.S. citizen who says he was detained by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency and threatened with deportation to Jamaica is now suing the county sheriff’s office that held him in custody until ICE agents could arrive to arrest him. Peter Sean Brown was born in Philadelphia and lived in the Florida Keys. He was not even aware of ICE’s existence until his harrowing encounter with the immigration agency in April. Continue Reading

Man Arrested In Murder Of British-Jamaican Woman

Jamaica police say a man is now in custody in relation to the murder of a British-Jamaican woman, whose body was found in a shallow grave Monday after investigations revealed inconsistencies in a missing person’s report he filed for her. The woman is 43-year-old Karen Cleary-Brown, a beautician of Paradise Edge in Boscobel, St Mary and a Pentonville Road address in London, England. Continue Reading

Exxon Mobil Hikes Guyana Reserve Estimates After New Discovery

Exxon Mobil and Hess Corp. said Monday they’ve increased their reserve estimates offshore of Guyana by 25 percent after making a 10th discovery in the region. Exxon Mobil said the new Pluma-1 well discovery coupled with increased projections from other findings have hiked their reserve estimate from 4 billion barrels of oil equivalent up to 5 billion.
